Wheeler's Ice Cream Weekend!

This is big news everyone! Wheeler has just announced that February 23, February 24, & February 25th are going to be full of delicious ice cream parties in three different cities in the U.S.!

In anticipation for the upcoming Oscar Awards on Sunday, February 24, Wheeler's Frozen Desserts will be hosting Oscar-themed ice cream galas in Philadelphia, New York, and Boston. Each event will feature five tasty ice creams, five sorbets, and five surprise Oscar-inspired flavors - ALL vegan, of course!

Here is the schedule for big weekend:

February 23: Philadelphia
February 24: New York City
February 25: Boston

Time and location are yet to be determined, but we'll be sure to keep you posted as the dates draw closer.

In addition, we're asking for YOUR help to make this a truly award-winning success. If you are a vegan baker living in either of these three cities and would like to team up with Wheeler's and whip up some fantastic desserts (think: vegan cupcakes, cookies, brownies on top of generous scoops of ice cream ... ) please get in contact with us! We would love to turn out some fantastic creations and celebrate the Oscars in style!

Be sure to drop us an email at Icecreamproject2007@yahoo.com and let us know if you can contribute to the vegan fun! Thanks everyone, and be sure to mark your calendars!

Why oh why does the east coast have to be so far away?

I'll definitely be there on the 25th! Still honing my baking skills, though, so maybe next time I'll be more confident in contributing. ;)

I’ll have to make a new rule for myself. Don’t come to your blog when I am hungry! Everything looks so delicious!

I will never buy ice cream from these jerks. The driver of their white van double parked in the middle of Dartmouth Street in Boston during rush hour on April 18th, stopping traffic for several blocks. When I called the store to ask that they tell their driver not to do that, "Emily" hung up on me. When I called back, "Emily" refused to give me the owner's name and contact information. The next time you are stuck in traffic and wondering what friggin' jerk could be so self-absorbed as inconvenience hundreds of people, think Wheelers Ice Cream. John

I will never buy anything from these creeps and I encourage to refrain as well. They parked their van in the middle of Dartmouth street at rush hour yesterday to make a delivery, freezing traffic for several blocks so their driver wouldn't be inconvenienced. When I called the store to ask that they not do this, "Emily" hung up on me. When I called back, "Emily" refused to give me the owner's contact info. If you want to support a business that doesn't give a crap about other people, Wheeler's Ice Cream is for you. Else, take your business someplace else.

Jess - I hear Portland is a friendly city... thus, Wheelers wouldn't contribute any karma. You don't want them there.
