DIY Ice Cream for Blizzard-y Days!

So, it's still snowing in good old New England here, and if you have no Wheeler's to savor, the time is perfect for that old-timey icey treat, snow ice cream. We recommend putting a bowl out while it's snowing to make sure yours is fresh, but if you must take from a snow bank, please make sure it's as clean as possible, with no dirt or curious coloring.

Ingredients:

1 cup soy creamer or soy milk
1/2 cup sugar of your choice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
dash of salt
1/4 cup mashed banana
5 cups of fresh, clean snow
Method:
Mix together and enjoy! A hand mixer or submersion blender will make this much easier. You can also try this with different extracts, like almond, maple, peppermint, or chocolate!

Have fun, and stay warm!
