Hey all,
Wheeler's Black Label Vegan Ice Cream launched a couple days ago by participating in the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival this past Saturday. We had such an amazing response and we're thankful for the support of everyone who stopped by - especially those who went home and blogged about us later!
We also wanted to let people know that Wheeler's will be scooping up our awesome signature flavors at MASSMARKET on Sunday, October 28 (from 10AM-5PM) at MassArt. The first 50 folks to stop by our booth will get a free kiddie-size cup of our chef's choice of delicious dessert.
Thanks again, everyone who visited us last weekend to let us know what you think!

I LOVED your peanut butter ice cream! I live near MassArt, so I'll try to make it there on Sunday just for your amazing vegan ice cream!
I'm so sad that I missed the festival mostly because I was looking forward to trying your ice cream- I have no idea where the Mass Market is either, so I just hope that I can get a taste some time soon!
So, how does a New Yawker get a hold of this beloved frozen confection?
And, what's the base? Please say it ain't soy...please!
ahh, I wish I could have gone to VegFest and sampled your ice cream!! :0(
I'm psyched. Sad I missed the veg fest, but psyched! Don't forget Good Health on the South Shore when you start distributing :)
Wow, could you guys possibly BE any less informative?
Please update the blog and respond to the whole "Where can I find this?" thing.
Thank you for your support! We hope you enjoyed our soy-based, 100% vegan ice cream available at the Mass Craft Market on Sunday, October 28.
For all of you who missed us at the Market (and at the Vegetarian Food Festival) - we have some good news!
We are now available at Bob's Southern Bistro! Located at 604 Columbus Avenue, Boston, Bob's Southern Bistro will be selling two of our brand new, autumn-inspired flavors Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash.
We have also been sending samples to vegetarian/vegan restaurants in and around the New England area, in hopes to distribute our ice cream in some of your favorite places to enjoy vegan food.
At the end of the month, we are appearing at the Boston Vegetarian Society Thanksgiving Dinners. The BVS hosts a Thanksgiving Dinner each year, and this year our delicious pumpkin, butternut squash & special holiday surprise flavors will be offered for dessert.
Arrive anytime between 4 and 10 and for a flat rate of $20.50 per person, get an awesome four course meal that showcases seasonal flavors and exotic Thai cuisine.
The dinners will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 4-10pm & Wednesday, November 21, 2007 4-10pm.
Location: My Thai Cafe Vegetarian & Bubble Tea Bistro @ 404 Harvard Street in Brookline, MA. (between Beacon St. and Comm. Ave. near Coolidge Corner; by T: take the Green Line "C" train to Coolidge Corner.)
Check out the menu page for detailed info on all the other fantastic things they'll be serving up for us Boston veggies. Everything will be 100% vegan and 100% tasty. Hope to see you there!
